Cookies for Sid

Just back from Taipei, and I’m missing the cool weather, hip cafes, cheap foods and thriving indie culture, not to mention combing an expansive bookstore with a pushcart — like buying groceries for the brain, how brilliant.

Oh, right. Cookies for Sid is the brainchild of Daniel Ong and Jamie Teo, serving freshly baked cookies (duh). My mother used to bake cookies when I was a kid. So I’d always dreamed about having a bottomless jar of cookies, preferably topped with chocolate chips or M&Ms. The dream still stands true today, but with an added clause that omits any undesirable growth in waistline. Ah, that would be perfect.
