Penang: Khoo Kongsi

Thursday Travels is a weekly column featuring sights and sounds from my wanderlust adventures. Come, fly with me, and we’ll explore strange cultures, exotic eats and everything in-between.

The Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi is probably the most ornate Kongsi in Penang. With a history dating back to 1851, Khoo Kongsi represents clansmen from Sin Aun Village, Hokkien Province, China.
