The hotly popular Menya Musashi. There’s almost always a snaking queue outside the shop — don’t understand why.
My first visit was a disappointment as the Black Kakuni Ramen wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped. The broth looked thick and starchy, but that’s only because it contained collagen.
This time round, we went for the Black Tsukemen. The dipping broth was definitely richer and more satisfying than the Kakuni, and the ramen was nicely done. On the other hand, X’s curry ramen was blahblahblah.
So I’d say the tsukemen is prolly the only dish worth trying here. But it’s still a few notches down compared to Menya Shinchan (now closed). Anyone with rave-worthy, shiok-some tsukemen to recommend?
