Was at the Urban Sketchers Singapore: Volume I Exhibition at the URA Centre which ended on Christmas eve last year — that is how dated this post is, oops. Was amazed by the talented members of Urban Sketchers Singapore and grateful that the city landscapes can be captured in such artistic manners.
There’s a miniature model of Singapore on permanent display as well and I had some fun exploring the various parts of Singapore. More sophisticated and precise architectural models can be found on levels 2 and 3, and at the Marina Bay City Gallery.
I found the town where I live, though it would take greater skill to locate the exact building.
Not a huge fan of architectural models, but it’s interesting to have our city shrunk into a graspable size. If you’ve watched the movie New Year’s Eve, you might know what I mean. (:
