Located right in the middle of Siam Square, Somtam Nua makes a great pit stop between shopping frenzies. Highly popular among locals, it’s recommended to arrive at off-peak hours to avoid the crowd.
Their signature dishes, according to online reviews, include papaya salad (Som Tam), and fried chicken. The salad was a flavorsome burst of sour and spicy tang while the salted egg added another dimension which we thought was awesome.
The fried chicken were so crispy, tender and tasty that we almost gotten another basket.
The fish was also perfectly fried and fresh – sweet, spicy, tangy. These were some of the most memorable dishes we had in Bangkok. ♥
