Book Cafe.

A solitary afternoon with a salad, a cuppa and my favorite Frankie.

I’m perfectly at ease spending time alone. Reading, doodling, thinking. When technology, particularly social media, is knitting everyone closer than ever, solitary time is probably the last corner of breathing space kindly reserved for myself.

Though Book Cafe encourages reading with its array of magazines and novels, it’s a tad noisy on a weekend afternoon, and slightly dim. Food wasn’t impressive, though a fruity punch to the caesar dressing whets the appetite.
